Well, here they are, my first digitally painted characters. I have a lot to learn, but I'm pretty happy with these girls so far.

While creating them, I envisioned them as game characters. I also wanted to maintain a balance between graphic shape and detail... leaning slightly in the graphic direction.

Hmm, pretty cool. Are these characters going to featured in anything, like a comic or animation? I ask because I bet with your drawing skills it would look really cool, and I'd love to check it out.

Hey thanks. I am using them to develop a story, but right now the story is just providing me with a vehicle to develop some concept work for a portfolio. However, Don't be surprised to see a graphic novel emerge further down the road. Comics are such an amazing storytelling medium.
